im trying to install a cd player that i just bought, its a pioneer DEH-P7700mp and ive already spliced and connected all the wires that need to be connected besides a yellow one thats labeled +battery, and another one thats red and labeled ACC. i need to know if this yellow wire is supposed to be spliced in with the yellow wire on the wiring harness, and if not, where is it supposed to go? And i need to know what to do with the red wire thats labeled ACC. the manual  says : " if this unit is installed in a vehicle that does not have an ACC (accessory) position on the ignition switch, the red lead on the unit should be connected to a terminal coupled with ignition switch ON/OFF operations. if this is not done, the vehicle battery may be drained when you are away from the vehicle for several hours."  i drive a 96 jeep grand cherokee laredo, and it has ACC, so do i splice this red wire with the red wire on the wiring harness, or just dont connect it at all.

any help is appreciated, thanks

first off, all you should have spent a lilttle more money and bought the after market wiring kit for your jeep.

you need to connect both red and yellow in thier proper spots. here is a link to wiring it up right. >>> Stereo <<<  so no smoke rolls from the deck or the dash.
