We are way up, but so is business in general. We had a very slow December, then all hell broke lose the last 4 weeks. I'd say our entire company probably does at least 100 a week. Just my division alone accounts for about 10 a day.

Ive done about 140 since November 1 in a area of about 16000 people. There are 5 dealerships that do their own and 3 independant ( back yard garages ) & I'm the only specialty shop in this town. We've had a very mild winter this year which accounts for lower number's in general but still not a bad year.

Despite an unseasonally mild winter (as Jeff may also be noticing), we are on track for a pretty strong season.... I lost track, but I believe we are well over 200 units since Nov. 1.... probably closer to 300. I do know that lately we are doing more in a day than other area shops do in a week.....

One a week if we are lucky but some weeks we have one a day, totally depends on the weather. As we are on the ocean we do not normally get snow but when we do it comes down a foot at a time. This is when the remote starters come in droves (or when Crappy Tire puts them on sale). The skihill 25 minutes away however, went from 0cm of snow to 290cm of snow in 4 days. The highest snowpack in Canada at this time. We have been getting more calls from mountain employees due to this. Why can't it snow down here....

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

with you guys doing that many, do you have time to do other work. I work for a big box store and we are very limited to how many we can do cause we have to cater to all the other stuff. Do your shops hire seasonal people just for the remote starts.

Im in a big box store, we dont hire seasonal to do this. Basicly we book starters inside and  I do things like decks and what not outside if I have to. Its not to bad, just takes some time management
