the alarm i am installing has a door trigger - and a door trigger +.  The info i have read from various posts mention connecting it to the brown - domelight wire in the A-piller.  But i have two wires.  I think i am making it harder than it should be.  Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Before you do this you should check if the trucks bcm goes to sleep, if it does after you are finished it could cause the alarm to false!  Roll window down lock the truck and then let it sit for about 10 mins, then stick you hand in the window and try unlocking with the door switch... if no unlock then it has gone to sleep and you will need to isolate with a relay or double dioding(FUN).  On the other hand if your truck does not have the sleeping bcm...  That is good:P
