I have a couple questions on this vehicle before I start on it.

I read somewhere I have to isolate the Starter wire?

Is this true? And if so Why?

I did a search on this forum for this vehicle, and you guys are talking about pulsing the door pin so the keyless entry works? Is this true or is that only for alarm install's?
Any other tips or tricks for this vehicle invited. I am using a pkf3 bypass kit. Thanks!

you dont need to isolate the starter wire
you have to pulse the doorpin to wake up the computer or there is a way to shut it off in your owners manual.
pretty easy car to work on

You only have to pulse the doorpin one some models. Roll down the windows, close all the doors and hood, and lock the car with the factory remote. Wait at least 10 minutes. Reach in and hit unlock on the drivers door. If the doors unlock, you don't have to worry about pulsing the door pin.
