Have any of you ever done door locks in any maza millenia.  Door locks are a 1 wire system, and I am having alot of trouble trying to get them to work. I'm installing a Viper 160xv.  The remote start portion works just fine, but door locks have given me alot of trouble.

use a relay for the lock and unlock ......then tie onto the same wire....let me know if u have any more questions

Negative trigger through a 1K (1000 ohm) resistor will lock the doors and arm the factory security.  Negative trigger on the same wire will unlock all doors and disarm the factory security.  Test using the passengers door key cylinder switch with all doors closed.  To disarm with out unlocking, send a positive trigger to the blue / YELLOW key sense wire.  The key sense wire is located at the steering column.

Where theres is a wire there's a way.

thanks for your help.  Are you talking one relay for both lock, and unlock.  if so, how is it wired up??  If its one relay im thinking:

86 green lock wire from 160

85 +12v

87 1000 ohm resistor then to ground

87a blue unlock wire from 160

30 to mazdas lock wire

Would this work????
