Hey guys, how can i get around this. installed a 1 way compustar into a 2003 grand am,  heres what's happening.  the r/s and gm data all module work perfectly, however, when the car does a remote shut down, the locks unlock leaving the vehicle unlocked. i also have the rearm wire hooked up to the drivers door  pin to shut down the rap system. i disconnected that to see if that might be telling the car the door is open therfore unlocking it, but it did the same thing. if i program the unlock before/ lock after start/lock after shut down will this work keeping the doors locked. and if i do that can i reconnect the rearm wire to shut down the rap system. any insight or help would be greatly appreciated. i am controlling the locks through resistors not the gm data all.

            thank you in advance

Programming your r/s to lock after shutdown may help, but it depends on the timing of the pulse from the car and from the r/s. The problem may be correctable if you program your car to eliminate the auto lock feature. If you turn the ignition on with the engine off, press and hold the lock button. After 10 seconds you will hear a chime or chimes. The chimes indicate what mode you are in. To turn off the auto locks feature you want mode 4. Keep holding the lock button until you hear 4 chimes in a row. It may take almost a minute depending on what mode you are currently in. Check your owner's manual under personalization for more details.
