i got a 2000 nissan pathfinder w/ bose and putting in a avic-d1 w/ xm navtraffic box. im wondering if i have to do anything special since it has the bose system, or can i wire it up straight with the harness with no problem.

Whell, me being me i would say since your spending that much money on a head unit, why would you play that through crap speakers right?  So i propose a re wire and 2 new sets of speakers. A component 6.5" set up front and a coaxial 6.5" set in back doors and toss in a nice little 50 wrms x 4 amp in there and call it a day.

Otherwise you can just hook it up with the adaptor harness and be shure to hook up the amp turn on wire to turn on those blows amps. You will also need a diversity antenna adaptor.

well its not for me and i now first hand those amps suck and blow quickly, he really just wants it mainly for nav anyways more of a work truck.
