i'm thinking of getting the sony xplod xav-7w with the dvx-100. Is this a good buy? I own a 1997 Honda Civic LX. i do not have any type of video media in my car now. Also is it easy to hook up ps2.

Thanks

Marc

Picked one up online for much less than retail with no tax.  Sony authorized dealer = $999.  My source for car audio is a high end installer.  I didnt think he would be impressed with the XAV7W but he had a few compliments after seeing my finished product.    Easy to hook up PS2.  I hard-wired the inverter and rca jacks behind the same panel.   Not keen on the $1000 dvd changer.  For about $375 you can get a cd changer that plays mp3's and a dvd player separately.  I got a din size dvd/cd/mp3 player from Optiview.  Directed electronics also makes a COOL indash dinsize dvd player - dont know about the features.  I  bought the Xplod cd/mp3 changer and xm tuner online and saved a few bucks.  Sony uses this funky bus-link stuff which daisy chains.  I  mounted the cd changer and xm tuner under the seat.         Hope this helps.
