DEI 529T works on top, sort of

I wired a DEI 529T into my top motor and set it for full travel. Full travel works with an initial ground pulse starts the module and the module output keeps it the ground signal going until the module stops. It works but it does not shut down when the top is finished traveling up or down. I guess there is not enough load on the motor for the module to sense that it is finished. What can I do about this? Is there anything that could be used to adjust the sensitivity of the 529T? Is there a timer module that would work or switches that could be used to detect when it is fully up or down? He is mad, mad I tell you!

Maybe I could use 2 of these instead and in combination with the 529T. DEI 528T Pulse Timer SPDT Relay Car Alarm VIPER PYTHON It says it can take either a positive or a negative input and be set to run from 0 to 90 seconds. If I wired it so a ground pulse activates both the 529T and the 528T then the 528T can keep sending a ground signal to the 529T for x seconds? I would have to get 2 since it seems to go down a lot faster than up I think. He is mad, mad I tell you!

I went ahead and ordered the 2 528T pulse timer relays. My plan to it have my switch activate the 528T which will feed the ground signal to the 529T for x number of seconds. Do I really need the 529T at all? Could I use the 2 528T to feed the motor current?He is mad, mad I tell you!

What about using a microswitch at the end of the travel to pulse the controller? Gus Wherever I go, that is where I end up......

There are dip switches on the unit itself. BUT...if you have a REALLY old 530T, they used to not have dip switches back then.

Are the dip switches inside the unit itself? I have one in my car and its only a couple of months old and there are no dip switches on the unit itself. I didn't know if it was like a jumper inside like the poliarity jumpers.
