Remote start in Toyota Matrix 2005

Is it possible to use Universal Alarm Bypass module (29402) from design tech on a Toyota Matrix instead of 556U or 555U?

Do I need to use the spare key on a universal bypass module?

Any help on this will be highly appreciated.

universal usually means it involves losing the key.  unless the box was capable of multiple programming routines, which is unlikely. 

just use the 556U...much easier and reliable
