Hi,

raplacing the HU on this vehicle with JBL system, I have read that it is a nightmare, does anybody know the amount of speakers this unit has and the impadance, need to know if an aftermarket amp is needed or the aftermaket radio will be enough?

In the Metra guide on this site, there's an amp integration harness listed for the '04 model- you might see if you can locate one of those and see if that works. The part number is 70-8113. Niether Metra nor Scosche list anything for the Sequoia with the JBL system on their site. If this harness does not work, it looks like a rewire may be needed.
