I need the wiring digram for a 1998 Ford Explorer sport 2 door with keyless entry and power door locks the driver door will not open unless you have engine running i need to see what controls the door locks.

when you say the door doesn't open do you mean unlock? if so its probably a bad actuator in the door. fords notorious for this

pink / YELLOW lock, pink/green unlock - driver kick both negitive trigger. Also where did u get 12volt constant at?

Where theres is a wire there's a way.

the door will not unlock until the key is turned to run then it will unlock with push switch.

My Problem is Locking, I checked the wires, Pink/Green is Hot and Pink / YELLOW is Not Both were tested at the switch and at the boot connector in the door. I need to know were the Pink / YELLOW goes under the dash, is this one also supposed to be hot?

Negative Pulse Door Locks

SWITCH:

RED / Black should be NEGATIVE

PINK / Yellow = Lock

PINK / Green = Unlock

RKE Module	LOCATED IN DRIVER SIDE REAR QUARTER PANEL
Motor Lock	PINK/BLACK	AT OEM RELAYS OR DRIVER KICK PANEL *
Motor Unlock	PINK/ORANGE	AT OEM RELAYS OR PASS. KICK PANEL *
Drv Door Unlock	RED / ORANGE	AT OEM RELAYS OR DRIVER KICK PANEL **
OEM Relays	LOCATED IN DRIVER SIDE REAR QUARTER PANEL
