Take the body kit off. On the back side of the body kit where the crack is at lay some fiberglass mat at least 2 layers. let this dry. on the outside of the body kit take some sand paper and sand the area where it's cracked at just to Roughen it up then take some body filler to smooth out the craked area follow with some rage gold. Then primeand paint.

Hope this helps you.

Take off the damaged piece. See if you can find the crack on the underside, if you can V-groove the crack then lightly grind the perimeter of the crack. Get a 2 part epoxy (preferably 3M 8115, or proform) make sure it is a structural adehesive....not a finishing putty. As well get some backing mesh. Fill the crack with the glue spread out evenly, then lay backing cloth and put some more glue over top and spead evenly again. After this cures (3M 5 min cure with a heat gun (just don't hold in one spot..move the gun around.) Flip over and V out the crack on top. Fill with putty and spread out. (DO NOT PUT CLOTH ON TOP SIDE OF PANEL) Block sand and refinish as desired.

***where latex or nitrile gloves, this work is messy!***

If crack is not all the way through the back side, just do the second step of this procedure.

Hope this helps (and all makes sense)

If you only grind the flat surface and fill over top of the crack, the first time that piece flexes it will crack again.

I do not know if it is necessary. I live in Calgary Alberta so our weather conditions are fairly similar. Remember that metal and fiberglass expand and contract differently so it may be more of a hinderance. As well the metal might make it to rigid and it might become more suceptable to cracking.
