I plan on replacing all 11 of the instrument cluster incadescent bulbs with blue leds. Will I need to install resistors for them or can I just remove the old bulb from the plastic twist and lock base, installing the led and reinstall the base back in the cluster? The leds are 12 volts and are 18~22 ma.
Thanks for any help.

you will need a current limiting resistor.
otherwise your led's life will shorten alot.
use an led resistance calculator

If your cluster uses the 194 or the 168 bulb buy some of these.  they have resistors in them already so you won't need resistors.

You wont need current limiters... already in place with those items...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
