I just wanted to jump in late here and chime up about the e6550:

It is, flat-out, my ALL TIME FAVORITE amp I've ever owned.

That is really good to hear! Thanks man :) I was debating between this and the 300/4. In the end I chose the e6450 because it is more flexible and marginally less expensive.

From what I've read the slash series has a better (regulated) power supply, but for my purposes that shouldn't be much of an issue. I also read a really positive review of the e6450 which was the icing on the cake.

I'm looking forward to getting this all setup and installed; it's going to be a big job to do it right.
