Hello RYGUY

Unfortunately VSS is not located behind radio unit. VSS is located the connector(24 way Gray) behind IPC(Instrument Panel Cluster). B9 is Dk Green White.  Again, location is B9. No need hooking up PCM!

Good Luck!

On some models the VSS is at the radio, it would be in the 12 pin plug.  Can't remember the pin # but there are sometimes 2 GREEN / WHITE wires there, VSS is the one on the top row (top with the clip upward, it is probably plugged in upside down in the radio).

Just to clear it up on the 2002 go to the cluster as mentioned pin B9, dark GREEN / WHITE. It wasn't until 2004+ that you could get it behind the radio. If it was an 04+ and had the 24 pin and the 12 pin connectors behind the radio, it would be dark GREEN / WHITE in the 12 pin. Good luck,
Mike
