Considering that the setup is right, like jeffchilcott said, then definitely the JL's! Very impressed with JL's line of subs. Pricey but very nice. Love the look too! You sure do have a lot of brands in that car. hahaha. One thing I couldn't help but notice was that you said you have 2 Orion 600D amps and Orion mids and you went with a Kicker sub!!? Oh my gosh... Orion does make killer subs you know. :)- hehe.

Well... do you have your mids on a high pass crossover currently?

Do you have your L5 on a low pass crossover currently?

If you don't have either of those set, setting them both will dramatically improve your sound.

If you want to improve your sound I would NOT focus on your bass.  You can get bass to sound clean and tight by fixing the upper harmonics of the bass.  Conversely, if your upper harmonics are distorting or severely attenuated even a great subwoofer system won't sound good.  You have much more to gain by improving everything else -but- your bass first.

i did have 2 12" orions but i didnt even liked it. so i traded those for the 2 JL w6. and i'm just using my sisters L5. im going to get my JL back today.
...and on the amps, i do have the mids amp on high on the crossover on the amp and low on the subs. but should i get another crossover? and how could i improve the high end of the sub?...BTW thanks guys
