Okay... first of all, hi everybody!

I started using the 457gw last summer wid viper rs 160, 771 an 791, at least once a week.  Never heard any complaints from customers... seemed everything works for them.  Then I get an 03 tahoe and think "no problem" done a lot of em, right? WRONG!!!

first, the heated seat thing (read that-makes sense)  but then, the perimeter lighting and the lock/unlock wouldn't work.  Disarm would chirp but no unlock, arm would chirp but no lock.  It seemed to stop messing up except for the perimeter lights, so i left it alone.  Now, the locks only work with the factory remote and if u try to remote start it, the factory alarm goes off.  WTF?  Can anyone explain this?  I've done the exact same install on 02-05 tahoes, 03 silverado ss, 03-04 escalades, you get the picture...and NOW it messes up in MY own friggin car?!

Anyone have any input?  it's been installed for about 2 months and worked fine til now. 2003 tahoe with 791rs & 457gw - Last Post -- posted image.

Happened to me on two of them so far. I switched to Crimestopper GMSL and never looked back. Works WAY more consistant than the 457GW.

I've had some problems with the 457gw  before. You might want to try the Omega DB-GMDL-BP the programing is pretty simple.
