GMDL-BP Issues

I am using this module and I can not get the parking lights to flash. door locks work fine and horn honks but no exterior lights flash I thought this did that also? It is an 02 trailblazer

I'm not so sure about that. I wouldn't really know, because I've always hooked up the parking-light output from whatever aftermarket alarm I was installing.
But, as long as the engine is off and it is dark outside, the permiter lighting (park/backup/headlamps) should come on with unlock, as long as your car has that feature.

The GM DLBP does not do parking lites- it takes a GM-SL to do that- Just wire it separately- I would only use the more expensive GM-SL if I wanted the benefits of heated seat activation and the like.......if the vehicle has heated seats.....

i believe you can change the factory lighting settings in the info cluster to turn lights on with unlock, but to have them on during remote start you have to run the park + wire to brown in large harness under dash. Gm-dlbp doesn't control parking lights.
