Headunit turns off

Can anyone out there help me? i got a problem with my head unit i turn it up to about 25 and it will shut off then it will turn back on in about 20 seconds. i dont know what the problem is.

You might have a bad speaker or a speaker wire going to ground. It may also be an internal problem with the built in amplifier. Either case, it seems that the deck is either going into protection or outright turning off. If it is outright turning off, ensure that you have a solid ground and power connections. IE: don't just use scotch tape to hold the wires together.

Ive had that problem too if its a stock system its usually the head unit cutting out so u dont blow the stock speakers or blow your eardrums its a safety feature changine speakers wont chnge anythin but changin ur headunit to an aftermarket will
