1987 honda wiring

I have a honda civic 1987 and I went to hook my kenwood into the car and it get power as far as ejecting the cd but all other things like the display and stuff does not work and suggestions????

smokey- you probably wired it wrong.... make sure all your wires are conneted properly. we had a simular issue with a JVC deck where we didn't have all the right wires hooked up (We had to go ghetto becaus we couldn't find the adapter).
Also, for most of what i hear, the power wire thing is a myth. i run 3 sets of rcas and like 4 speaker wires plus the remote with my power wire and i don't get noise. it could ge your ground? what kind of wiring did you buy?

none I tapped into the main wiring for the radio and hooked up the radio but all was hook on the keenwood except the turn on 12volt wire........my problem if that the wires for the radio has 11 while the radio has 12
