Tomorrow I am going to be putting a system in a Ford Taurus.  I have installed several systems in cars with aftermarket cd players, but this car he wants to keep the factory head unit.  I know I have to get the adapter for the speakers, for the RCA's, which I will pick up tomorrow with the amp kit.  I just dont know what factory wire I will have to cut into for the remote wire (amp turn on).  If someone can tell me what color it is, it would be really helpful.  I think it is a 2004 or 2005.  Thanks for the help.

Use your meter and test the wires along the trunk side wall near where the tuner is installed, near  the sidewall chassis ground point.  You should find both a 12V switched and a 12V constant there.  At least, I found them there on the '01 model.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
