How many sensors can you run off 1 alarm and what is the best proccess for programming a DEI proximity sensor? I am putting it in a pickup so I want it to read if there is any wandering arms into the bed of the truck.

If the sensitivity it set so it picks up a wandering arm, it will also pick up rain, the wind blowing, and cars driving by. After getting false alarm after false alarm you will want to throw it out the window.

I noticed you mentioned the orange ground when armed and the black ground wire are both grounded.......
Take the orange wire off of ground. You actually will not need it at all, unless you are planning on adding anything else that requires a ground when armed. The reason your truck isn't starting with the key is the ground when armed controls the starter kill relay. If it is grounded all the time, when you turn the key on, it opens the starter wire, and it will not crank.
See if this does the trick for you.....
