Hard Wiring Sirius S50

Hello,Have a Pioneer D1 with a whole bunch of other stuff...Just bought a Sirius S50. Love it...What is the BEST way to hard wire it to the head unit - Sound quality wise...I have already hard wired the power.I also bought a pair of RCA's (connected to the Pioneer D1 head unit) with a small mini headphone jack connected to the cradle the S50 sits in. Have it hooked into the AV setting / input on the D1.While there is no interference anymore...The RF actually has better sound quality...Very disappointed with this.I also had the sirius tuner add-on with the D1...Graphics are TERRIBELE since the Pioneer has a tie with XM. The D1 is lacking a TON of features on the Sirius side.Note the OEM input does not work since I am not running the OEM head unit and am running the D1.Thanks in advance!!

if your deck has an aux input then plug the rca's into there and into the 8mm jack on the s50...did you want to kno how to hardwire the power also? That cig. lighter is a pain to take apart and ide just get a female cig. connector and hardwire that...but the best connection should be the aux jack, i dont know if the av plugs will work...but u never know.jl audio..nuff said

buy a ipbus interface so that it will go from ip bus to rca they sell them at best buy for $33.00.

If u plug in the headphone jack did you turn up the volume on the s-50? it would be like setting the gain basiclly.rottenbellys 05 crew cab colorado.Pioneer dehp 880prs, kenwood excelon in all 4 doors. Bazooka 500 mono Jl 10w3 in coustom center console box.
