Hi,

I have purchased a rear seat DVD player/console from an autowrecker for a 2004 Malibu Maxx and would like to install it in my Maxx.

It appears there is wiring required from the dash radio to the unit, but I have not been able to locate a good interconnect diagram.

Has anyone retorfitted their Maxx with a DVD player?  If so, what was done to inteface to the in-dash unit?  It is somewhat confusing with the wiring diagrams I reviewed from AllData.

Thanks for any help!

BR

I can't answer your question directly, but I suggest you check with your Chevy dealer.  Go talk to the service manager and ask them to pull up the parts list for the car on their computer, and if there is a factory wiring harness they can give you the OEM part number and order one for you.  That's what I'd do, anyway.
