remote start, 1995 gmc safari

My first install ever was a '95 Astro- back then I used the "add a fuse method" - the little plug in adapters that go in behind hot side of a fuse in the fuse box that radio shack sells- any way I can remember going out behind battery to get the +12v at the junction bolt- and finding the purple wire in the conduit above battery- only thing then I believe- is that is was behind the neutral start switch- 10 years ago I was abliss to this- but anyway the van still runs and starts good wired into the ecm fuse and the heater fuse circuits- I did not know enough then to even consider the wires from the column- it was just my way of tapping into the system without cutiing and splicing- on the first one ever......Brcidd - Engineer That Does Remote Starter Installs on the side.
