I just bought a display model AVIC-N2 from best buy. After spending the entire day wiring it and installing it into the bay... I boot it up to discover that it won't eject discs!! It works perfectly everywhere else, such as NAV, IPOD, etc... but the darn thing won't eject the NAV disc - even when I press and hold the eject button.

Here's what I think the deal is... Because it's a display model, maybe it's stuck in demo-mode. That means that it wont allow anyone to eject that precious $200.00 NAV DVD. So if that's the case, how do I undo this??? I have already disconnected the battery, AND pressed the reset button. I'm out of ideas!!

Any info would be great!

God bless! - Ralph

Press and hold the eject button then hit reset then let go of the eject button...or maybe it doesn't have a dvd, or press and hold the eject button for 10 secs.

It has the disc lock feature enabled. PM me and I will try and help you out.
