When routing the remote bass wires for the Knob that will be installed under the dash(for the remote bass control on amplifier), where should route this cable?... alongside the power or signal wires under the carpet?

...not sure!

thanks!!

It would be great if I can run it alongside of the signal wires, I have the signal wires routed in the middle of the car, I have power wires running along right side under sill plate, then my car has power wires running on both sides under sill plates from the factory.

Running it in the center alongside the signal wires is ideal because I am going to mount the knob in the left of center under the dash, it would just make routing shorter and easier...just want to make sure I wont get any noise or problems..

better safe than sorry right?:)

thank you!

I have an RF 500bd with remote bass. I ran the line (shielded RJ-11 connection, like a phone line) with my RCA's and haven't had any problems

When you slap it together most times it comes out wrong. When you take your time and seperate the wires as you are doing will make the installation go well.

thank you, yeah I just wasn't sure what you were trying to say.

One thing I'll say is that I admire the patience of the people that do this type of work for a living...because I HATE laying cables..blahhhhhh.

I have a Bd 1000.1 and I am running the "remote punch bass" wire (RJ 11 or phone line) with all my signal wires down the middle of my vehicle and the control knob is in a storage space under the arm rest in the front.  I have had no noise problems at all.
