i just put in a ast alarm/remote start. did all 4 power windows fronts roll up and down, rears just up... i want to close the sunrrof when the alarm arms.. on the plug there are 4 wires the BLACK / YELLOW when given ground makes the roof close. i know i can use a relay to give this a ground when armed signal.. but... what of the constant ground going to this the entire time the alarm is armed. the motor does shut down once fully closed even if still given a ground signal and it also opens fine. would i be better to use a power window module like a 529t or a pulse timer... to only send this wire ground long enough to close the roof... if a 529t is recc how would i do this?? being this wire needs ground to close? and would i only use one side like left or right signal only....... thanks for any info or help with this....
