Any one know if the white wire listed (use door trigger) is less then 200ma? In other words anyone know if you can hook up the output (from an autopage 855) straight to the wire or does it need a relay?
I'd like to know before I pull the truck apart..
Thanks.

if you have a bulb there, its definately more than 200mA. if you replaced it with a led, you would probably be fine using just the wire. im guessing it is still a regular bulb, so you will have to use a relay.

The white wire is a high current lead. DO NOT hook up the dome light output wire to this directly or you will smoke your Autopage 855. You can hook it to the tan wire off the pin switch in the driver's end of the dash. This is a low current negative trigger for the BCM. The white wire is the high cuurent ground output for all the interior lights.
