Hi,

I am debating between these two 5 Channel Amplifiers for my car because I want just one amp to run the whole setup.

1. Hifonics ZX8000

2. Directed Audio 1100d5

Which one do you guys suggest?

Thanks...

I have heard good things about them. Moderate price, good performance. I think their earlier amps might have been reviewed better than current ones, but I think they could be compared to hifonics. anyone else?

1100D5 is a solid amp...... makes good, clean power. Nicely priced, too.

Yeah, I am actually leaning towards the Directed Audio - am a bit nervous because I never used them before. I have used Hifonics with no problems - just that the Directed seems more promising from what the local install shop said too.

I just talked to my local install shop and they said the Directed I want to get is far better than the Hifonics ZX8000 - before I jump and buy the Directed, I guess I will wait for more opinions from you guys about this - am tired of switching amps all the time and want to make this the last one! LOL
