Hi There,

I have a Clifford rs3 installed in a 96 Impala. I had it installed over two years ago. The other day when I went to unlock the doors , the doors unlocked but I did not hear the two siren beeps. So then I pressed the lock button, the doors locked but I did not hear the single siren beep, I have the windows rollup automatically when the doors are locked, but that stopped working also. I notice now the LED is always on sometimes.

Any ideas on what could be wrong, or what I should look at to replace. Thanks a lot.

Sounds as if the unit is in valet mode.
Here is a link to the owner's manual see if you can take it out of valet mode.

Thanks Twelvoltz!!

Your awesome, I followed the enter/exit valet mode instructions and I got my chirp back. I'll test the windows tomorrow, but i'm confident with your know-how. What is the purpose of Valet mode anyway?

Thanks Again.

Valet mode is a way to bypass the security system for times you will not need it. Like valet parking the vehicle. It disables the auto arming, and other security features but leaves the convenience features intact (this is why no chirp, but the doors still locked/unlocked).
