Hello,

I hooked up a Pro-Start 2300 (remote start and keyless entry) and had the door locks hooked up backwards. The doors would unlock when I hit the lock button and lock when I hit the unlock button.
I reversed the wires today by cutting and spicing the wire by the connector ging in to the unit. Now =most of the time the doors work properly and when I start the car using the remote start the doors would properly lock. I did notice twice in about 15 attemps that the doors did not lock when I remote start and the doors would not lock even after hitting the lock button on the remote. The last time this happened, I think that after locking the doors using the factory lock button on the door things started to work properly again. I'm sure that it will stop working properly again at times.
What is going on?
Thanks,
Wes

Try this, check if you can increase the time the door locks outputs are on.I've had that problem before and inceasing the trigger time for the door locks should solve the problem.

Did you add relays to increase ground to the door locks? Many alarms come factory with a very light negative out, strong enough to barley trigger a honda.

The ProStart only has (-) trigger locking wires, so Wes would had to have used a set of relays. Make sure that the power and ground on those relays are from a reliable source.
