adding relay to single wire locks

I have a 2006 mazda 6 one wire door locks lock has a 1k resistor and unlock is stright to ground.

How do i add a relay as the RS does not have enough ground for lock

I tryed

86- 12V

85- input from RS

30-ground with resistor

87- lock wire in car

did absolutly nothing

Please can someone help

are you getting the signal from the alarm? try taking the alarm wire off the relay and supplying the relay and see if it activates, also is the locking still working in the car without remote?
