AVIC-N3 Bypass

I just recieved my avic-n3 and was preparing myself to do the solder bypass before my install...
Following other instuctions I found the small silver tape "which had void writen on it" and proceeded to remove it to find no tthe R197 but a Small Toggle Switch was present instead!
What do you guys think about this! Pioneer giving us a easier bypass???
I will be making the install within the next two days to let you know...
