I plugged the CK3000 into my Symphony II (no BOSE, no NAV)and ran a quick test last night and a few issues need to be resolved before I can complete the install.
1) No power to orange wire when ignition on - I'm planning to tap the windshield washer circuit since it's switched by ignition and seldom used. Any thoughts on this plan or a better alternative?
2) I plugged the yellow mute wire into the Mute #3(blue). The stereo mutted and phone set up was audible, but stereo did not say "phone" as I was led to believe it would. Is this as good as it gets with this stereo?
3) Lastly, phone audio was very loud and distorted. I understant a 5k resistor will tone things down a bit. Which wire do I splice the resistor into (also I could only find a 4.7k resitor, close enough?)?
Thanks in advance for your input!
Robert

You have to get ignition power at fusebox.

Yellow mute wire should plug into yelllow wire on secondary harness.

No resistors should be needed.
