i have a 1989 chevy s-10 extended cab with a 105 alt and a yellow top to go along with it.  i currently have 0 gauge running to my 750 watt system with 2 10" type r's at 4 ohms.  i am planning on upgrading the amp and maybe the speakers.  here's what i plan to do: 1. put in a ho bigger alt 2. another yellow top in parallel 3. much larger amp.   should i upgrade to another battery first or ho alt?  i was told i should run a power wire from the alt to the battery but i don't know exactly how.  what amp is better ma audio, hifonics, mtx, kicker, or rockford?  i am planning on getting one that does 2000-2500 at 1 ohm.

you must plan your work and work your plan

1. Alternator.

2. I cannot recommend anything from MA Audio.  The other brands you list are pretty much all in the same league.
