Does anybody know the wiring diagram for the factory MP3/Cd player that comes with the Equinox? It's a Delphi Delco Electronics unit, part # 22694209. I see that some of the wire colours correspond to that of the 2005 Blazer but there are several others that I'm not sure about. It appears that the RED / white is the 12V and the BLACK/ white is the ground, but I just want to make sure before trying to hook anything up.

If you're installing a new stereo, pick up a harness for your vehicle and get rid of the guesswork.  Otherwise, the multimeter is your friend.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

I got the head unit from the factory that makes the dashboards and installs the stereos prior to final assambly.....they throw out dozens of them b/c of broke mounting tabs etc.

I'm putting it in a 92' jeep b/c flashy new aftermarket decks just get ripped out of an insecure jeep too easily.

Thus...I'm just looking to make sense of which is the 12v, 12v switched etc and any other need to know things. The wiring for the 4 speakers is the same standard colours as the Chev blazer etc.

On these radios, there is not a switched power source. Have fun getting the thing to turn on.
