Im looking for a high end amp capable of at least 1400 rmsx1 at 1ohm or 700 rmsx2 at 2ohms for under $300. To push two JL 12w6v2's. Any suggestions?

1400 watts, high end and under 300 watts...
Three terms that I doubt will be used in the same sentence anytime soon. You may want to consider checking out used amplifiers, or ebay for something, because $300 wont buy you much

Sadly, in car stereo, those three (hi-power, hi-end, and low-cost) dont exist... you won't find it. At least not new, or with any kind of warranty.
Sacrifices are going to have to be made here, and you'll have to decide which you want: spend more, have less (real) power, or select a lower quality amp...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

** under $300...
(Typo, my bad)
But yes, you're definately going to have to make sacrifices, and I suggest it be the money. You are working with very nice subwoofers, and you really don't want to skimp on anything at this point. Remember this little rule: Your speakers are only as good as your amplifiers, which are only as good as your head unit allows...

I recently won a bid on ebay for a viper D2500.2 amp $187. However the owner claims he lent it out to a friend while it was up for bid and it got fried. Maybe he lied because the bid was too low.  Oh well I'll just keep looking.

You can find a Hifonics Brutus that fits all 3 of your "wants." Most people will say they're not "high end", but they are good as most amps out there with the exception of the "real' high end amps.
