Relay 2 flash

Hello, can anyone help with the construction of a alternating high beam headlight flasher setup? IE Parts and wiring diagram.

I've tried several different configurations and still can't figure it out. As far as I can remeber all that is needed is a relay and a flasher.

To do all of that would be a hell of a chore.  You would probably be better off buying a police type flashing light controller.  It will honestly be the easiest way to do all the things you want.  If you really wanted to do this it would take alot of relays, flashers, and possible other electronics.  It is almost enough to give me a headache just thinking it out.  I'll think about it and if I can come up with a decent answer I will post it.  Also what order do you want it to flash in?

Chad you would just wire the side marker lights independently using the parking lights as a constant source of power.  Then use a relay  on each light to break contact with the parking lights when the turn signal powers up to flash.  If you need the exact way post a new topic and I will describe this in detail.

wassup, okay for alternating head lamps you'll need 3 relays, 1 flasher, and a 2 pin switch.  Pretty easy if you're familiar with the wires on your car

relay 1

85 - cold side of switch, 86 - ground, 30- wire (3), 87A - (2)

relay 2

85 - tap into cold side of flasher, 86 - ground, 30 - +12V, 87A - to 87 on relay 3

relay 3

85 - +12V, 86 - ground, 30 - to (5), 87 - pin 87A on relay 2, 87A - to (4)

this should work on most GM cars, but remember, you might have to put 6Amp diodes because of negative going to the wrong wire, but thats just a safety factor...oh and this took me a while to type up so you better use it
