Where would I be able to find a set of selenoids that would be able to pop the door handles of an 05 Civic....I dont want to spend an arm and a leg...thanks for the help....

It depends on how many doors you want to pop, if you already have an alarm with an auxiliary button, etc.  You can find a kit online or piece one together yourself.  I always recommend a solenoid rated at 35 pounds or more.  Many people use trunk pop solenoids (15 pounds), but sometimes you have to hit the button more than once.

Get the 35lb ones. You will spend less money in the long run going with the right equipment.

I have a coupe so its only the 2 doors. I will probably leave the door handles for the time being, well, atleast until i decide to paint the car. Im sure buying a kit online would be easier but would it be cheaper? Thanks for the fast replies...

You can get away with a 15 lb solenoid but install a door popper as well. The door popper is a spring loaded metal pin that pushes the door out when the solenoid pulls on the door handle cable. The Honda Civic uses cable that doesn't require much force to open the door as long as you mount the solenoid best you can and as free from friction as possible.

Yeah I have taken the door apart and i thikn the 22 pound seleniods would def. be able to handle the pressure. But where could I find a good kit with 20-35 pound selenoids? Also where would I be able to mount the poppers? Thanks for the input...

We stock the AutoLoc solenoids and poppers for vehicles & they work great. The poppers we use the OEM door pin hole or if we can't we drill a hole into the door and mount the poppers in the door or the frame of the vehicle. Which ever is easier for the vehicle & the installer.
