is it possible that a car with trunk can be louder than a hatcback car with the same system and power? is there any trick to make a trunk car louder than a hatchback without changing box and drivers?thnx.

So your asking if you have two identical systems with identical everything, is it possible for it to be louder in a sedan than a hatch? I dont see any situation where this would happen provided both systems are installed properly.

No he? i thought that too, with Hatchback you can have 3db gain compared to trunk, but what about if the seats are folded down making the woofer in the same area you are? i've read this on other forums that a car with the seats folded down, you can get like 1.5 -2db gain. what it's true about this?

I don't no how many more DB but it dose get louder with the seats down I had my back seat unbolted so I was able to lay it down very big difference

with the exact same setup no.    And I am almost 99.9% sure on that one.   with a diffrent box then there is a stong possibility.
I cant tell you how many people I have ran against in hatches, trucks ect ect with same subs, larger subs, more power ect ect...and I can still whoop them
check our website for some vid's...we run a 98 civic coupe..best to date 153.1 at a USACi show using the Term-lab meter. We plan to up that score tomorrow!
