Hi guys i have a 99 toyota vitz (echo) 5 door hatch with factory remote central locking all doors.installed a car alarm which worked well how ever testing it when the car is armd ..opening each door only the drivers door sets off the alarm..the rear hatch is not included as it didnt come with central locking or any electrics .sounds like very basic problem just need to know what i have missed that is only the problem i have found then agian im not sure if my dual imboliser is working aswell .lol.out thank you for your time

You need to get door trigger from "a" pillar should be 3 wires for the dome light. RED / white i think

you can also find the RED / white at the top of the fuse box.  It is negitive trigger so make sure you wire the negitive alarm trigger from the alarm to that wire.
Where theres is a wire there's a way.

That wire isn't there in right hand drive

thanks will have a gork on it tommorow so RED / white wire wont be around the fuse box as stated only left hand drives? so only the right hand is around the a pillar drivers side ?

i think there is, just that is really hard to reach! its on top of the fuse box.. which is ...u have to open the whole dashboard to get into it

The domelight wire MUST be running up one of the roof pillars to get the domelight.
So, if you can't find the wire at the fusebox, pop off one of the A-pillars........probably the one on the same side of the car as the fusebox.......and you should be able to find it there.
Or, if all else fails, run a wire to the domelight itself, although that should not be necessary.
