I went through the site and found the '96 stereo wiring diagram but i don't believ it covers the premium audio. the colors do not match what i have in my truck.

1991 mercury cougar premium jbl sound with factory amp. is the big red wire a hot wire? is on a fuseble link? is the red wire tied in with the factory cd player and amp and keyless entry pad on door?
