I just bought a new enclosure for my SX and it sounds about the same as my old prefab enclosure. My prefab was about 21"W x 16.5"H  x 18.5"D(slot vent). My new one is about 4.6cuft.  40"W x 17"H x 15"D with four 4" ports (not sure how long the ports are rigt now). My question is why isn't it any louder? Is there anything I can do to get louder?

Did you double the quantity of subs and double the power?  If not, why do you think the new box should be louder?
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
