Can someone help me find the VSS wire to tap into for an aftermarket navigation unit. I have been searching for a few days now and I have found some people listing a pin in the blue harness as well as the green harness behind the instrument cluster. I have also read that i can and cannot be found behind the radio if it has speed sensing volume (mine is supposed to).   And I have also read that I can tap into one of my ABS wires on the drivers side of the car behind the rear seat.
I am getting pretty confused!
Thanks
Dustin

Pull either the driver's or passenger's rear side panel. You will see the harness that goes to the rear of the car over the wheelwell. There will be a twisted pair that exits, wrapped in black tape, be a colored and a black. THis is one of the ABS wheel speed sensors. Use the non black wire. You may need to diode isolate your wire to keep the ABS computer happy.

Hi,

You can always use a CAN Bus interface, they are easy to install and avoids the potential dangers of tapping unknown wires.
