Sorry I wasnt able to respond earlier,

brianh did a good job of explaining it. one thing is missing though.

both the unlock wire and the factory disarm wire have to be pulsed at the same time in order for the factory alarm to disarm.

on the (-) unlock wire coming from the alarm connect  2 diodes parallel (side by side) to each other with the stripe side pointed towards the alarm. you're going to Y them off of the (-) unlock wire, one end will go the factory disarm wire, the other end will go the yellow wire coming off pin 30 on the relay that you will be using for lock. you can extend wires from the diodes, if it makes it easier.

Hope I didn't make it confusing for you.

hello Secureauto

Thanx for the update just a couple of questions:

What size of diodes?

Do I still hook up my factory disarm wire from the r/s? I f so can I hook in the diode lead from the relay and r/s factory disarm wire in the same spot?

Also in you prevoius post you said to use the yellow wire for the lock/unlock. I have a yellow wire and a yellow/pink wire at the drivers kick which one should i be using and how do i test for the right one?

Thanx for all the effort

Todd
