I live near Manhattan and I had not heard crime was up in Emporia. It sucks to get ripped off, but kicking his *** won't make him think twice the next time he tries it. Get an alarm or get creative with the install so it is harder to steal. Theft is a crime of oppurtunity.
Good Luck!

Funny stuff that Trunk Monkey.  What's that he's trying to bribe the cop with, anyone know?
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Those are some amazing commercials.  I wish I had a trunk monkey.
That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

Get crazy mad with the install. Go to home depot and buy some good steel strips. If you got grinder great cut emdown to size so you can design a small cage. Then rent a mig welder or arc, welding is easy. make your cage and then get some high grade bolts like 7 or 8 grade. But make it easy enough so you can uninstall incase you need to do work. I also recommend getting cameras and a baby monitor. If u have an extended cab like some people, put locks on your seats (high grade). It make seem shabby but use your imagination and make it look good. Top it off with an alarm and your set.
may the force be with you.

I got tired if having my stereo equipment stolen when I lived in  San Diego.  Every week  I would wake to find my car was strucked.  I fixed that. I bought a new radio and a box of razor bladed. I carfully taped them to my radio and installed .  3 days later I woke to find my car door wide open.  I went down to find my car radio was still there.  I had to clean up the carpet ....The next day I saw a man that lived in the naborhood with his left hand and arm all wraped up. I honked the horn and waved.... You know I lived in that naberhood for 3 more years and never had my car broken into....   KY BOY....
Last words, Sure I can fix it...Won't take but just a sec.

you zip tie the razor blades to the wires and put a layer of tape around them. When they go to grab it and pull they get cut
hoping I pass the 1st class for the first time on 5-18-6, wish me luck!

I bought single edge blades. I layed one blade flat on the back with a overhang. Then I wraped tape around the radio.  Repete till back of radio looks like a ball of blades in every direction.  I mounted the rear suport bracket to the radio before I removed te cardbord covers...I did not wish to cut myself installing.    Mean but it worked.
