Door Triggers that rest at ground

On my 2004 Mazda3 I have installed an alarm, but have a couple of things left to hook up. The main question I have at this point, however, is with the door triggers. Here's what Directed says for the car's wiring: Door Trigger - passenger kick, harness to rear The LF door is BLACK / YELLOW, the RF door is BLACK/ blue, the LR door is BLACK/ orange, and the RR door is BLACK/ green. Use all four wires and diode isolate each. These wires are also found at the Passenger Junction Box behind the glove box. These wires may rest at ground with the doors closed and go to an open circuit when the doors are opened. A DEI alarm senses either a - or a + signal. But, this seems to be putting out the exact opposite type of signal than the alarm needs, and it gives a ground when the doors are closed, NOT when they are opened. Am I reading this right? If so, is there a decent workaround? The only thing I can think of, is hooking it up to dome supervision, but my car has a delay on that, so I'll have to turn on the delay in the alarm, and then it won't tell me if the door pin circuit has gone faulty... Also, to hook up door trigger to dome supervision... Is that the same wire that you would hook up the dome supervision output of the alarm to? (except in that case it would require a relay)
