Subwoofer Wiring

Hey guys i had a quick quesion. i have a 2000 intrepid and i am installing 4 12's on a bd500. Now the speakers are eclipse aluminum and they are single voice coil(got a deal i could pass). What way would be best to wire the subs as to make sure i dont blow the subs but still get great bass

the speakers are 4 ohm and they are 350 rms and the amp will do 2 ohm at 500x1 rms. also its a mono amp

You will want to wire the amplifier at 4 ohms bridged. 

I think you'll want to go look for a new amp or just run two of those subs. With this setup, the best you can do is wire them for a 4 ohm load and split the 250 watts bewteen all 4 subs. Look for an amp that'll produce sufficient power at a 4 or 1 load. The other option would be wire two of them up for a 2 ohm load and they'll get 250 a piece, then sell the other 2 or save them 'til you get a different amp to power all 4.
